Britain's Got Talent is a British show where ordinary people go on stage to do something extraordinary. In recent seasons, the talent pool has been overwhelmingly dominated by children, with children singing and dancing their way into the hearts of judges who often find themselves teary-eyed.

When someone hears the word "show", they usually think of entertainment; however, there are other types of shows that one may be interested in watching or even participating in. It is difficult to find these types of shows on television, but a recent program has shown the way to succeed in finding these types of shows. It is called Britain's Got Talent and it recently aired its fourteenth season.

BGT (short for 'Britain's Got Talent') is an English entertainment television series in which stage acts — ranging from singing and dancing to performing circus stunts, acrobatic and magic acts — compete against each other for a £1 million prize.

So far, there have been thirteen seasons of this television series. It originally began as "Britain's Got Talent" in 2006 and was produced by Simon Cowell until 2010 when he left the show to focus on his record label, Syco Music. Simon Cowell returned to Britain's Got Talent in 2012 after splitting with Syco Music.

In the very first episode of BGT, there was a young man named Michael McIntyre who sang "Wonderful World" by Stevie Wonder. This season featured two stage magicians. You can also check out their performances here.

I would recommend you to watch this show, as I have found it very entertaining and insightful. It's a show that gives hope with its entertainment and shows that people can achieve great things with nothing but their talent.

The premise of the series is that the public votes for their favourite act among all acts in the auditions rounds. The public has also voted for a winner at quarter-final stage or through "the Golden Buzzer", which is given to one act selected by the judges every week, giving them an automatic place in the semi-finals.

The British television talent show first aired in June 2007. It is now the world's most popular television talent show and has been franchised in many countries including Australia, the United States, New Zealand, Denmark and France. The format features singers, dancers and other performers of all ages competing for a top prize of £500,000.

You may see many familiar faces on Britain's Got Talent. One of these familiar faces belongs to Alesha Dixon, who has acted as a judge since the inception of BGT in 2007. Over the years she has performed on stage with artists such as Mariah Carey and Michael Bublé.

Recently, a former contestant from BGT, Susan Boyle has released an album – her first-ever! It has sold more than four million copies. This album topped the charts and has even appeared in the top 10 of the Billboard Charts!

Alesha Dixon - British singer/songwriter, dancer and television personality who is best known for being a judge on Britain's Got Talent since 2007 and for playing leading roles in stage musicals such as Chicago in 2006. She was appointed as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing with Alesha Dixon from 2013 to 2016.

Britain's Got Talent is renowned for its one of a kind acts that are meticulously crafted, as well as some very funny people that you'd expect to see at a comedy club. The level of talent on this show is phenomenal. It can even make an audience shed tears for joy while watching an act go on stage and perform something remarkable. An example of this was when a six-year-old boy, George Sampson, performed "Nessun Dorma", which is an opera song by Puccini.

This show has been going on since 2007 and still remains entertaining to watch. Even with the endless amount of talent it has to offer, you may find yourself wondering if there's going to be a repeat of the same old acts that have already been shown on the show over and over.

It's a common concern when the same performers keep going on stage and showing off. However, BGT is capable of changing things up as well as bringing in new faces who are talented in other ways that focus on abilities that are not usually seen in this particular show. The judges, Paul O'Grady and Amanda Holden are funny enough to make anyone laugh but they still manage to give constructive criticism to performers who need it. They also make sure that they push for their favourites to win by giving them a "Golden Buzzer". This is when an act that is truly talented and deserves to win is selected by only the judges.

The judges are one of the main reasons that people keep coming back to watch Britain's Got Talent. They bring a personality to this show which distinguishes it from other competition shows. Paul O'Grady, who is in his seventies, has been on stage performing since 1950 where he was a member of The Entertainers, a famous British comedy group. He entertained the soldiers at the D-Day landings. A former America's Got Talent winner Wayne Newton describes him as "the best there has ever been" and "a legend". However, he is also the oldest former judge with Amanda Holden, who is 41.

Another judge is Amanda Holden who, aside from being a television personality and a former presenter of Australia's Next Top Model. She was also a dancer on Strictly Come Dancing (2006) as well as an actress in the film The Girl in The Café. Together with Britain's Got Talent producers, Simon Cowell and Susan Boyle, she has been a judge for Britain's Got Talent since its inception in 2007.

Now, that you know more about the show, you may want to see how your favourite contestants stand against other contestants from past seasons of auditions and semi-finals that have been aired.

As I stated earlier, there are many acts that have made it through to the semi-finals of BGT. Not everyone can make it to the final stage. However, it's realistic to say that everyone who has taken part in this show has put a lot of effort into their performances to get as far as they did. But we can appreciate their level of dedication and talents.
